Our Clients
Attorney’s fees are expensive. Many poor people find that legal help is a necessity they simply cannot afford. That’s where the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program steps in, providing legal advice and representation in a variety of civil matters.
All DVAP clients must meet strict financial eligibility guidelines before they can get legal help through the program. Most of DVAP’s clients are single mothers with children. All are living below the federal poverty guidelines. After the bills are paid, DVAP’s clients have no money to hire an attorney. Without DVAP’s help, our clients have no access to the justice system.
