Solo & Small Firm Section
The Solo & Small Firm Section provides meaningful and practical continuing legal education to its members and assists members in achieving economics in law office administration and procedure. The Section generally meets the first Wednesday of the month at noon. It also sponsors several social networking events during the year and, from time to time, full or half day CLE programs of interest to solo practitioners and small law firms.

Oct. 13, 2011: "Practical Tips for Organizing the Small, Tech-Savvy Law Office (pt. 2)," Chris Krupa Downs and John Phillips, two practicing lawyers will give tips based on their experience of actually using the new technologies. 1.0 hour CLE credit.
Nov. 2, 2011: "Loser Pays: Then and Now," Frank Gilstrap, Hill Gilstrap, P.C., Arlington. The speaker is a member of the Supreme Court Rules committee responsibile for drafting the new civil procedure Rule 167 that executes the statute.
