Peer Assistance Committee

Peer Assistance
Provides assistance to lawyers who are stressed, depressed, alcoholic, chemically dependent, mentally ill, or unable to conduct their legal practices due to personal or health reasons. The committee also educates the community with seminars presented each year.

Meetings:
The Peer Assistance Committee meets on the first Monday of the month at noon in the Belo Mansion in the Storey Room.

Help is Available:
The Texas Lawyers' Assistance Program (TLAP) is a confidential crisis counseling and referral program that helps Texas lawyers, law students and judges challenged by substance use and other mental health issues, including clinical depression, anxiety and stress.
