This is a panel discussion consisting of DBA and sister bar association leaders as well as successful, minority lawyers. Our goal is to encourage law clerks in Dallas during the summer to return here to live and practice law.
- See above for details, this event will be catered to those law clerks spending the second half of their summer in Dallas.
-
This luncheon will focus on promoting diversity at SMU and the Metroplex through the committee and DBA. Date to be determined by SMU in conjunction with its orientation program for minority law students. The luncheon will be held at SMU as the Belo will be closed in August for renovations.

This event is related to last year’s DBA Diversity Summit. The program will be held in conjunction with the DBA’s Education Symposium which focuses on improving public education for children in Dallas. This Diversity Initiative subcommittee will focus on pipeline initiatives to encourage students to pursue legal careers and help them accomplish this goal.
