Mentoring
DBA members volunteer to coordinate an E-mentoring Program in the Dallas ISD to mentor young students by e-mail. The Committee also coordinates the Transition to Law Practice Program by recruiting mentors for new lawyers and coordinates special CLE programs for new lawyers throughout the year. The Mentoring Committee also works closely with Big Brothers Big Sisters to recruit and provide mentors (lawyers and judges) for children of incarcerated parents, through the Amachi Program.
