Half-Day Seminar and Reception:  "The Class Action Revolution--The Supreme Court Changes the Face of Class Action Litigation"

May 21, 2013, Noon to 3pm CLE and 3-4pm reception, at the Belo

Three experienced class action attorneys will analyze the U.S. Supreme Court’s sea change opinions during 2011-2013 which have brought significant changes to how class actions are tried, the proof necessary to obtain class certification, the forum which hears class claims and the right of a litigant to waive class action claims.   The speakers will also discuss the cases still pending for decision and their potential impact on class action litigation.  The presentation will then be followed by a panel discussion of the cases and their direct application and impact in the trial courts.  The three speakers will be joined by a panel who are on the frontlines in addressing these landmark decisions.
