The Dallas Bar Association seeks to assist the public in developing a better awareness and understanding of the impact that the decision has made on our lives.
The Dallas Bar Association is partnering with The Links, Incorporated, a national organization of African American women who are strongly committed to community service. We are requesting that local churches, educational or other institutions and facilities with bells, ring their bells on May 17, 2004 at exactly 12:52 p.m., the date and time that the Brown v. Board of Education decision was rendered.
Along with the Dallas Bar Association, the following groups are participating in the Bell Ringing Ceremony:
