OUR GROWTH

The Dallas Bar Association is a diverse, multifaceted group of individuals representing every aspect of the profession. Judges and practitioners, transactional and trial, plaintiff and defense, big firm and solo - the Belo Mansion draws them all to a common place for common purposes, contributing to our Bar's distinctive character. As the Dallas Bar has grown into a premier city bar association, it has greatly outgrown the space at the Belo Mansion. With the limited availability of meeting rooms at the mansion, scheduling conflicts are forcing some DBA events to be held offsite.

Parking is another constraint; a growing percentage of our members office outside downtown and need convenient parking to attend events at the mansion. The Belo Mansion has been pushed beyond its limits with projected membership growth expected to reach 11,000 by 2010. The new Pavilion provides practical answers to all of these challenges.
